Reply, mention, resolve, edit, or delete comments
Click a comment pin to open it, then use Reply to answer, type @ to mention someone, click the check to Resolve, and use the ••• menu to edit or delete your own comment.
Open a comment
Click a comment pin on the canvas, or click the comment in the Comments panel. The comment card shows the author, the time, the text, any attachments, the people mentioned, and the replies. Press Esc or click outside to close it.
Reply
- Open the comment.
- Click Reply.
- Type in Reply... and press Enter.
Replies support mentions, attachments, emoji, and voice notes. The card footer counts the replies. You can also reply straight from the Comments panel.
To edit or delete your own reply, hover it and use the pencil or trash icon.
Mention someone
- In a comment or reply, type @ or click Mention.
- Pick a person from the People list. You can keep typing to filter by first name.
The person's first name becomes a link in the comment (click it to see their profile), and their avatar appears under the comment. In the Comments panel, anyone can filter for @ Mentions of me.
Resolve a comment
- Open the comment.
- Click the check button (Resolve) at the top of the card. It turns green.
Click it again (Unresolve) to reopen the comment. Resolved comments stay on the canvas and appear under the Resolved tab of the Comments panel.
Edit or delete your comment
Only the author can edit or delete a comment.
- Open the comment and click ••• (More actions).
- Choose Edit to change the text, mentions, attachments, or flags, then click Save. The comment shows "edited".
- Or choose Delete. The comment disappears right away and a Comment deleted message appears with Undo for 5 seconds.
Flag a comment
- While writing or editing a comment, click Flag.
- Click a flag to add or remove it. A comment can have several flags. Suggested flags are Urgent, High, Normal, and Low.
- To make your own, click + Create new flag, type a name, and pick a color. Clear all removes every flag from the comment.
Flags are shared by the whole room, and you can filter the Comments panel by flag.
