## Undo and redo

1. Click an empty part of the canvas so the keyboard focus is not inside a text field.
2. Press **Cmd + Z** (Mac) or **Ctrl + Z** (Windows) to undo your last change.
3. Press **Cmd + Shift + Z** or **Ctrl + Shift + Z** to redo it.

Undo works for changes such as drawing, moving, resizing, deleting, and changing colors, fonts, sizes or alignment.

There is no undo button in the toolbar; use the keyboard shortcut.

Good to know:
- If undo does not seem to respond, you may still be editing a text item or sticky note, or the focus may be in a chat or comment field. Click an empty part of the canvas and try again.
- Undo is for people who can change the canvas: Owner and Can edit members.
